    Chemical Scissor–Mediated Structural Editing of Layered Transition Metal Carbides

    Our paper in the latest issue of Science describes a new process that lets scientists chemically cut apart and stitch together atomic layers in layered and two-dimensional materials.     DNI and Drexel Materials alumna, Kathleen Maleski-Yadeski, has been selected as one of Drexel’s 40 Under 40 for 2023!  Kathleen was and is an integral part of MXene research, with 50 co-authored peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Chemistry of Materials and Advanced Optical Materials.  Kathleen now works for General Electric as a lead scientist. …
