MESC+ MS Program Graduation

Two Drexel BS alumni, Luisa Gomes and Carter Henderson, as well as Mohammed Al-Abdali, who performed his thesis research in our lab, graduated with MS degrees from one of the best MS programs in the world: https://mesc-plus.eu/

The MESC+ Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree is a 2-year program in Materials Science and Electrochemistry, fully paid and taught in English, involving 5 Universities in 4 European countries (France, Poland, Slovenia and Spain), Universities in USA (Drexel) and Australia (Deakin), a European Research Institute (ALISTORE), the French Network on Energy Storage (RS2E), the Slovenian National Institute of Chemistry (NIC) and a leading Research Center in Spain (CIC Energigune).

Drexel University has been participating for more than a decade, providing MS research opportunities and welcoming MESC graduates for PhD study.

Research Assistant Professor and DNI Member, Dr. Armin VahidMohammadi, will be Organizing a Workshop on “The Art of Scientific Illustration” at the 2022 AAAS Annual Meeting

Dr. Armin VahidMohammadi along with DNI alumni, and current Assistant Professor at IUPUI, Dr. Babak Anasori, will organize a workshop, titled: “The Art of Scientific Illustration: How to Present Your Work Effectively,” at the 2022 AAAS Annual Meeting, which will be held from February 17 to February 20 online and in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The workshop, which was accepted by the AAAS 2022 program committee, aims to provide guidance and best practices for writing academic papers and preparing graphs and schematics.
