1st International Conference on MXenes at Jilin University

We are organizing the 1st International Conference on MXenes at Jilin University (Changchun, China) this week. The conference program is attached. Prof. Barsoum will be giving an invited talk and three post-doctoral researchers our my group (Xu Xiao, Chris Shuck and Narendra Kurra) will be presenting their work as well.

Notre Dame Outstanding Dissertation Award

Congratulations to our Post-Doctoral Researcher Chris Shuck, who was given the “Outstanding Dissertation Award” at the Commencement at his alma mater University of Notre Dame last week. The award is given to the top graduating graduate student in the department. It was a $1000 award meant to cover the purchase of the academic robes, which Chris can proudly wear now!
