Congratulations to all!
Prof. Yury Gogotsi presented the Tis Lahiri Memorial seminar at Vanderbilt University on April 9, 2018. Past lectures have been given by members of national academies and top researchers in ChemE and MSE fields, such as Nicholas Peppas, Karen Gleason, and Kristi Anseth among others. This lecture attracts broadly from a number of departments at Vanderbilt.
Prof. Gogotsi also had the opportunity to see DNI alumna, Dr. Kelsey Hazell and her team of PhD students! Her group produced 3 papers in her first year at Vanderbilt. Just yesterday, Kelsey won another NSF grant, so her group will keep growing.
Congratulations to Ph.D. Candidate, Kathleen Maleski, who has been awarded a prestigious Koerner Family Fellowship. Sponsored by Robert M. and Paula W. Koerner (along with their children), the Koerner Family Fellowships are awarded to one graduate student per year in each department of the College of Engineering. Students that receive this award are recognized for their dedication to their doctoral studies and meet with their peers and donor during the academic year. This is a great recognition of Kathleen’s outstanding work!
