William Reil, STAR undergraduate student, has been selected as the winner of the Unexpected Discoveries Presentation Competition. He received an award certificate and $100 Amazon gift card for his presentation titled “The MXene dog”.
This competition is designed and run by Dr. Babak Anasori, to promote critical thinking and encourage thinking outside the box. The competition consists of a ~5-10 minute presentation about how research can solve daily problems and encourage students to speculate about undiscovered potential applications of the research. The students presentations were evaluated by all the DNI group members.
Congratulations again to William!
