Congratulations to Dr. Volker Presser, former post-doctoral associate in the Nanomaterials Group, who was appointed as Full Professor and Head of Energy Materials at the Saarland University in Germany. He is also affiliated with INM – Leibniz Institute for New Materials. It’s particularly impressive taking into account that Volker went from Assistant Professor to Full Professor in about two years, skipping the intermediate Associate Professor step.
