RET-NANO is a 7-week program located at Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania for high school and community college teachers.

The program is funded by the National Science Foundation.

Program Dates: June 29, 2009 - August 14, 2009
June 29 - July 2: Orientation
July 6 - August 14: Research Experience

RET-NANO Highlights:

Gain hands-on experience working in a research laboratory

Receive a stipend of up to $6,000 & opportunities for Act 48 credits

Who can be an RET-NANO Fellow:

Applicant must have:

An appointment as a teacher of science or math at a high school or community college

An interest in including nanotechnology in your curriculum

Demonstrated creativity in teaching

Basic computer technology skills

Teams of teachers from a school are encouraged to apply.

No research experience necessary!
