Scientists Boost Performance of Emerging Nanomaterial

Our colleagues from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln produced a press release on our recent joint publication:

New Paper Published in ACS Nano

A new collaborative paper has been published in ACS Nano.  This work opens the road to synthesis of 2D and ultra-thin nitrides of transition metals. Synthesis of nitrides from MAX phases has been difficult. In the attached paper, we propose an alternative route to producing  nanometer-thin nitride sheets in large quantities:

ISI Hot Paper and Highly Cited Paper (Top 0.1%)

Congratulations to Babak Anasori and his co-authors on having their papers listed as both “Hot Paper” and “Highly Cited Paper” on ISI. This paper is on discovery and properties of 2D ordered double-transition metal carbides, which was published in ACSNano and was selected both as the cover and Editors’ Choice article by ACS.
